Water is Right: Essential Resources for Communities

In the Dominican Republic, the DERTOUR Foundation collaborates with the Water is Right Foundation to ensure local communities have access to clean drinking water and proper sanitation facilities.

Through a specialised training programme, 20 young people – including five women – are learning the skills needed to maintain and improve their community’s water infrastructure. This initiative provides essential resources, empowering communities with sustainable access to clean water and equipping the next generation with the skills to safeguard this vital resource for years to come

Empowerment through Mobility

In Udaipur, India, the Lake City Rickshaws initiative is transforming lives by training women from low-income households to become e-rickshaw drivers. Building on the success of Jaipur’s Pink City Rickshaws project, this initiative equips women aged 18 to 35 with e-rickshaw driving skills, fostering entrepreneurship and independence.

As shareholders in the initiative, these women gain economic independence and social recognition, paving the way for transformative personal and community development.
