From hotel reservations and transfers to excursions and in-destination services – across our global network, guests rely on the DERTOUR DMC organisation as a trusted operational partner in international travel.
Our network comprises 21 Destination Management Companies (DMCs) with approximately 2,000 employees, operating from 71 offices across 31 destinations worldwide, serving around 4 million guests per year. Within this international travel ecosystem, stable and reliable operational systems are essential to ensure seamless service delivery.
As DMC Application Support, you play a key role in safeguarding the stability and performance of our mission-critical operational systems. Acting as the central interface between our DMC agencies and our third-party system providers, you ensure timely issue resolution, structured communication and continuous system optimisation across the network.
Due to our global setup, this role requires reasonable alignment with European working time zones.

- Provide professional and timely application support to DMC agency users across the network
- Investigate, analyse and troubleshoot system and process-related issues within our operational travel systems
- Act as main liaison between DMC agencies and third-party system providers
- Manage ticket communication, escalation processes and expectation alignment
- Provide guidance on system functionality and configuration
- Contribute to data quality assurance and system consistency
- Identify recurring issues and proactively propose process or system improvements
- Support online and on-site system trainings in collaboration with internal teams and external providers
- Contribute to cross-network projects within the DMC organisation as required
- Ensure compliance with defined KPIs and service standards
Deine Tools & Skills
- Proven professional experience within the tourism or travel industry
- Strong understanding of DMC operational processes and corresponding system environments is highly advantageous
- Experience in application support, customer service or system-related support roles
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose issues and drive structured resolution
- Confident decision-making and prioritisation skills in dynamic environments
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent English; additional European languages are an advantage
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office and standard operating systems
- Willingness to travel and experience working in multicultural environments
